Research Interests/Summary

My research interests are climate variability, dynamics, and change. I work on a variety of topics in these fields, such as the hydroclimate of the Caribbean, quantifying and predicting subseasonal-to-seasonal rainfall characteristics, and North Atlantic climate dynamics. My research consists on not only the physical understanding of the climate, but its societal impact. I work with several weather and climate services, and agricultural and local communities on translating my research towards better prediction, information, and awareness on climate variability, dynamics, and change. My hope is that my work can contribute to the overarching understanding of the Earth-Climate system, and benefit local communities and stakeholders that rely on weather/climate information.
